2. Services

Audit Grove House provides audit and assurance services for small and mid-sized businesses, including:

• Independent financial statement audits under IFRS and ASPE;
• Review and compilation engagements;
• Internal control assessments and advisory reports;
• Financial reporting and compliance consulting.

3. Engagement & Acceptance

A professional engagement is established once an engagement letter is signed by both parties. Clients agree to provide complete, accurate, and timely information necessary for the audit or review process. Audit Grove House reserves the right to decline or discontinue an engagement if professional standards cannot be met.

4. Fees & Payment

Fees are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are based on the scope, complexity, and duration of each engagement. Invoices are payable within 30 days of issuance unless otherwise stated in the engagement letter. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed-upon arrangements.

5. Service Delivery

Audit Grove House performs its work in accordance with Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS), professional ethics, and confidentiality rules. While every effort is made to deliver accurate and timely results, absolute assurance regarding the absence of misstatements cannot be guaranteed.

6. Liability

The liability of Audit Grove House, its partners, and employees is limited to direct damages up to the amount of professional fees paid for the specific engagement in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, opportunities, or data, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Intellectual Property

All reports, documentation, templates, and materials provided by Audit Grove House are protected by copyright and remain the property of the firm. Clients receive a limited, non-transferable right to use deliverables for internal purposes. Redistribution or publication requires prior written consent.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

Refund and cancellation policies:

• Engagements: may be cancelled in writing before fieldwork begins. If cancelled later, fees for completed work will apply and are non-refundable.
• Advance payments: refundable only if no work has commenced at the time of cancellation.
• Advisory or consulting sessions: non-refundable once delivered electronically or in person.

9. Privacy

The collection and handling of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy. Audit Grove House applies appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect all client and financial information.

10. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vancouver, BC. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
